Happening Now in Black Houston: The Buffalo Soldiers National Museum Gets an Upgrade

The Best Museum in Texas

As a Homeschooling family filled with history buffs, the Buffalo Soldiers quickly rose to the top of our list for field trips. Nestled in Houston’s Historic Museum District, this national treasure offers a remarkable experience that takes you back into time when these great soldiers were present.

From live video footage to actual uniforms worn by soldiers and astronauts, you are engulfed in a history lesson that you will not soon forget. On top of this greatness, on your next visit, you are in for a special treat. The Museum is finally revealing its newly renovated second and third floors. Situated in a great location, within minutes of downtown, you are sure to find the space is perfect to accommodate your business or social gathering.

In honor of this momentous occasion, the Museum hosted a grand reveal that featured food, fun, and fashion. Some of Houston’s hottest talents were here to serve up a good time. Additionally, attendees were treated with the opportunity to meet with many of the city’s talented business owners and learn more about their offerings.

Whether you are planning a wedding, a birthday party for your child, hosting a meeting, or you want to liven up the space for your next family reunion, the Museum has all of that- and more- to offer. It will help you throw a memorable affair that adds education, history, and cultural appreciation as to the festivities. The Buffalo Soldiers National Museum continues to do wonderful things for Houston and this country. It will forever remain on my “must-see” list of things to do when visiting Texas. Call them today to book your next event.
