Homeschooling On the Go: Black History and Paris

Why We Homeschool

From the Alexandre Dumas family’s exhibit to visiting a “tomb” dedicated to Toussaint L’Ouverture, and stopping by the cafe where James Baldwin, “I Am Not Your Negro,” frequented, our Spring Break in Paris was a phenomenal learning experience. Our decision to have this tour include eating at restaurants from different African countries, representing the four compass points, made it even better.
